You may have already heard that a notice was published by the US Department of Commerce on September 7, 2021. And its main focus is to create some new administrative reviews for importers under countervailing and antidumping (AD/CVD) orders.

With that being said, there are some countries and products that were integrated into the notice. Importers and other global trade partners should take a close look at these updates, in order to reduce any delays or fines caused by documentation errors or non-compliance.

Ukraine
This was to be expected, since this type of goods has been regulated and reviewed quite a bit in recent times. Now Ukraine is the one that needs to tackle this particular situation with the Oil Country Tubular Goods (A–823–815).
Turkey
In the case of Turkey, there are 2 products to be reviewed. These include Certain Pasta (C–489–806) and the Steel Concrete Reinforcing Bar (A–489–829/C–489–830). They are normal to tackle in such a situation, and an important thing to take into consideration.
China
For China, there are multiple items to consider. We have some Steel Grating (A–570–947), Chloropicrin (A–570–002), Xanthan Gum (A–570–985), Corrosion – Resistant Steel Products (A–570–026) and the Collated Steel Staples (A–570–112/C–570–113).
Thailand
For Thailand, they are only issuing administrative reviews for the Citric Acid and Certain Citrate Salts (A–549–833). That’s the only item under review, at least for now.
Taiwan
Taiwan’s focus is on Polyethylene Terephthalate (Pet) Film (A–583–837), Corrosion – Resistant Steel Products (A–583–856) and various Steel Nails (A–583–854).
Vietnam
Vietnam is also with administrative reviews for the Steel Nails (A–552–818/C–552–819). This is the only product under review for now.
Republic of Korea
Here we have the Steel Nails (A–580–874), as well as Corrosion – Resistant Steel Products (A–580–878), at least for the time being.
Malaysia and Oman
We grouped these countries together because they both have the same restriction, for Steel Nails (A–557–816) and Steel Nails (A–523–808) respectively.
Japan
Cold-Rolled Steel Flat Products (A–588–873) are the items under administrative review in Japan, and it’s the only item for now.
Italy
Interestingly, Italy is now under administrative review for certain types of Pasta (A–475–818/C–475–819).
India
For India, there’s a review regarding Polyethylene Terephthalate (Pet) Film (A–533–824/C–533–825) and Fine Denier Polyester Staple Fiber (A–533–875).
Columbia and Belgium
They both have reviews for Citric Acid and Certain Citrate Salts (A–301–803) and Citric Acid and Certain Citrate Salts (A–423–813).
